The Westminster Shorter Catechism states well that “Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy Him for ever.” Therefore, one of the most important practices in which we may involve ourselves is the worship of the true and living God. It is a great joy to worship our God together as a body of believers. We gather together in the sanctuary to sing the great hymns of the faith, pray, hear the Word of God read, and listen to God’s Word taught and preached. In addition, we celebrate the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper quarterly, on the first Sunday of the month (usually January, April, July, October). Our worship is traditional in form and bulletins are provided to follow the service. We have special services throughout the year which include an Annual Memorial Service, Maundy Thursday (the Lord’s Supper is celebrated), Easter services (Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. and regular service at 11:00 a.m.), Thanksgiving, and a Christmas Program.

We all meet together as a group in the sanctuary for what we call “The Opening” in which we sing and listen to a brief devotional from our Sunday School Superintendent. We then divide up into our separate Sunday School Classes.
